North Union Street Public Meeting #2 Feb.13, 2013
< prev  |  next >
This was the second public meeting for the streetscape design project for North Union Street from State Route 417 north to its intersection with Main Street. The meeting was held at the John Ash Center, located at 112 North Barry Street in the City of Olean. The meeting was open to the public, with about 60 participants.

The purpose of the public meeting was to share conceptual options for streetscape improvements. These concepts were developed based on stakeholder interviews, input gathered at the first public meeting in December, and three focus group meetings.

Following a brief presentation, attendees reviewed each of the concepts and provided feedback to the City and the design team. After the February 13th meeting, the consultant team will refine one of the concepts and the design will be presented during a third public meeting in March 2013.

Members of the public wha are unable to attend the meeting, but who would like to submit comments, are welcome to send their comments to the City of Olean Project Manager, Mary George at mgeorge@cityofolean.org.
